One of them, who saw cash coming into his record at normal interims and was pulling back it, said he thought the Narendra Modi government was 'placing cash into my record'.

Bhind: In a happenstance a few times more than, a part of State Bank of India in Alampur town in Madhya Pradesh' Bhind region opened two records with a similar number of two individuals with a similar name.

One of them, who saw cash coming into his record at normal interims and was pulling back it, said he thought the Narendra Modi government was "placing cash into my record".

"Our branch has given same ledger number to two people named Hukum Singh because of an administrative slip-up. One Hukum Singh, an occupant of Rurai town, was saving cash in this record, while the other Hukum Singh, an inhabitant of Rauni town, has been pulling back from it for as far back as one year," SBI Alampur Branch director Rajesh Sonkar told PTI on Friday.

"The case was identified when Hukum Singh of Rurai town checked his record on October 16 this year, and discovered huge withdrawals. We found that Hukum Singh of Rauni town pulled back this cash," Sonkar included.

Hukum Singh from Rauni. who made the withdrawals, with all due respect, asserted, "I thought Modi ji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) was giving this cash so I pulled back it," and proceeded to include that "this is lack of regard with respect to the bank".

Hukum Singh from Rurai stated, "I had opened this financial balance in 2016 and have been routinely saving cash. I thought of a withdrawal to purchase a plot of land. That is the point at which I discovered somebody had just pulled back Rs 89,000 from my record."

He asserted he was at this point to recover his cash regardless of a few visits to the bank.
