The official Twitter handle of the Statue of Unity in Gujarat said on Saturday that high-speed winds have blown water into the review display, however asserted that it is because of plan. The 182-meter statue is the tallest on the planet and was introduced a year ago.

Travelers who had come to see the statue, a remembrance to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on Saturday said that water had entered a perception display.

Nonetheless, Narmada Collector IK Patel asserted that it was normal for water to leak inside the display. "The review exhibition is unguarded with barbecues on the chest of the statue," he said.
